Not sure what to say?

It has been a whole year, wow, has it seems that it has just flown by. I miss you Dad, and think of you daily. We are taking care of Mom, making sure she isn't lonely...and I know that she misses you, too. Often I say out loud that "I love you Dad", and I can hear you say "I love you too honey"...then the tears fall, both tears of sadness that you aren't here with us anymore, and yet tears of joy knowing that you are with the Father in heaven. I look forward to seeing you again one day to give you lots of hugs and kisses, and tell you in person that I love you so much! Take care Dad, will see you soon.

I try to keep it mowed. Rain's a hinderance

Been a year dad,and not a day goes by that some event, smell, sound, or sight brings you back to my memory. Looking after mom best I can, and trying to live a life that honors God and you and my mother. Selling your truck is hard, not only because it was yours, but also because gas prices are so bad that driving it is expensive. I can see you leaving it parked for those reasons. Going up to the farm gets hard because you aren't physically there to enjoy that with me. Not sure about what the other side is like if you can see us or know we think of you, but if you can you have to know how we feel exactly.

About a year ago we were sitting out on the deck enjoying the warm sunshine together, oh how I miss those moments with you. I love you and miss you, Dad! Thinking about you.

It's been 7 months since my dad passed. I am reminded of that song that says, "all the things I wish that I had told him, in the living years". Everyone misses him and we know that there is no way to bring him back. Still, we try to keep his lessons alive and in our hearts. I pray everyone of us has Jesus as our Lord and Saviour so that we can see him again one day. I pray the same for his grand children and great grand children.

It's good to remember you, but it's time to move on with my life and live it to the fullest like you did. Of course we will never forget you and I hope we never forget what you taught us. I'll see you again, so I will choose to see you as youthful now, with a new body that's unbroken, and untouched by disease, with ALL of your memories in tact, for mortality must put on immortality according to scripture. I rejoice in that reality.

Almost a month already, time just seems to whiz by way too fast, yet it only seems like it was yesterday that you passed from this earth to enter your heavenly home with the Lord Jesus. We miss you so much, Dad, and I just want to say I love you so much! Many folks still ask about you, and wonder what your life was like, and I am proud to tell them of my fond memories of you. Peace!

It's hard to believe that two weeks has gone by since your passing, and I miss you so much. Yesterday I went to visit you at the gravesite with Chyrl, and we remembered your smile, your sense of humor, your sweet smile, and just remembering the good times we shared. I am so thankful to God for every day that I was able to have you in my life, and each day that passes does not lessen the empty ache I feel inside because your presence in my life seems emmpty. I know that one day I will see you again when we are all with the Savior in heaven where there is nothing but peace, joy, and love...most importantly we will be with Jesus. I love you Dad! See you!

To my dear sweet father, God has given me the best gift anyone could ever have...a loving, kind, gentle, quiet man to be my father. I am so thankful for the many years that I was able to spend with you, and each and every moment has been precious to me. I love you very much Dad, and while I will miss you very much, I know that I will see you again in heaven. While I will miss you dearly, I am happy that your pain and suffering is over with and that you can now enjoy the promises that God has given to us all who believe...no more pain or suffering, no more heartache or sorrow, no more tears. Only joy and love. Peace!

My dad was a strong beacon to show us the way to live a Godly and good life that honored God and put family first. He gave us strong work ethics, and believed and lived by what he "preached". He had no enemies...ever.
