I am so sad to hear of George’s passing. George was my audiologist for 28 years. He definitely brought back the “sound of love” for me. Always helpful and caring when ai would come in for my hearing aides He would ask about my family and tell me stories about his children and then grandchildren over the years. I will miss a great audiologist and hearing all the stories of his family that he was proud of. My deepest condolences.

George and I worked in the same office bldg. in Vestal and honestly got to know him when we bumped into each other in the common hallway. He always sharedd a story as a point of reference and never disappointed w/ a well timed anecdote or well placed zinger, ha.
My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Though I met George only a few times, he truly made a lasting impression on me with his humor and intelligence. As I read this beautiful obituary and hear more stories about George, I'm amazed by those same traits as well as his wisdom, generosity, and passion for learning and teaching. I'm thankful to have the memories of George that I do laughing at the table during Ciderama in Holland, or warmly welcoming me to his house on the lake (and then giving my brother a crash course in investing) as well as for the incredible stories and photos Georgia has shared with me about his life and fascination with the world. To George's family and friends, I'm thinking of you and sending love.

I was shocked to hear of George's passing and am so sorry for your loss. This must be even more difficult during this time that prevents us from gathering physically to mourn together. I am holding you all close in my heart and praying that you find strength and some peace in virtual messages of love being sent your way.

To George's Family!
My name is Eric Loewenguth and I just wanted to send my best wishes to all of you! I was George's manufacture rep for Siemens Hearing over the last 15 years and George was one of my favorite customers!
Over the years I had a lot of great lunch meetings with George at Tully's restaurant and I enjoyed each one. George was always funny, honest and gave great perspective on life in general! A true straight shooter, which I appreciated from George! He often spoke about his children in Buffalo and Vermont and was very proud of you and his grand children children as well!
I just spoke with George a month ago to coordinate another lunch get together. I am deeply saddened that cant happen now, because yes those lunches were always fun, insightful, candid and I always left with a smile on my face after being entertained by George!
Thoughts and Prayers for all of you!
Sincerely,
Eric Loewenguth

So sorry to hear of your tremendous loss. George went above and beyond for his clients. What a great guy he was. He took especially good care of our mother, who had really serious hearing problems. We will never forget how kind he was to her.
