Kathleen Mikulski Obituary
Johnson City: Kathleen A. Mikulski, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her son, Edward Mikulski; her daughter Kathleen Philbin; her parents, Frank & Anna Palmer; her sisters, Patricia Harding, Theresa Witteman; and her brother, William Snyder. She is survived by her husband, William Mikulski, Sr., whom she married on August 18, 1956; her daughters, Geri Mikulski and Mary Kaye (David) Sickles; her son, William (Lori) Mikulski, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Trudy Mikulski. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Amy, Holly, Leigh Anne, Katlin, Jennifer, Hannah and Joshua; 4 great-grandchildren, Harley, Broghan, Cora and Rylie; 3 brothers, John (Beverly) Palmer, James (Sandy) Palmer and Bill Palmer; one sister, JoAnn Mosher; and a number of loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity. She was formerly employed by Endicott-Johnson Corp., where she met her future husband, Singer-Link and the Econo-Lodge. Kay was known for her big heart; her home was always open to any being on two legs or four who was hungry or lost. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Bill, her entire family and all of her friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 AM at Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton, and at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Uncle Bill, Geri, Mary Kaye and Billy, It saddens me to hear of the loss of such a beautiful woman, Aunt Kay. I can remember as far back when we were all kids…... she will be remembered as the one with the big heart and big smile. Aunt Kay was so genuine and sweet. Her bubbly personality will always live on. My condolences go out to each and every one of you.

Geri, Billy, Mary Kaye,and family; I am very sorry about the passing of your mom. she was a very nice lady with a huge heart.
