DOROTHY M. (ROE) LUCE
of Hallstead, PA
Dorothy M. (Roe) Luce, 83, went to be home with her Lord, Friday, March 27, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents, Ermon and Nellie Roe; an infant daughter, Darlene; and a sister, Martha Leonard. She is survived by her loving husband, Carlyle Luce; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Tony Silver, Hallstead, PA, Joanne and James Washburn, Windsor, NY, and Gloria and Robert Anderson, Brackney, PA; grandchildren, Kristina and Jordan Adams, Endicott, NY, Ryan and Stephanie Anderson, Greenville, SC, Brenda and Steven Hadlick, Windsor, NY; great grandchildren, Mariah and Justin Hadlick, and "her baby" Carter Adams; brothers, Wilson Roe, and Floyd and sister-in-law, Esther Roe, all of Hallstead, PA; sisters, Alice Roe, Montrose, PA and Bertha Roys, McAllen, TX; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wilfred and Linda Luce, Endicott, NY, and John and Edna Luce, Hallstead, PA; special nieces, Christine Rosecrans, Dona Eldred, Mary Markham, and Wendy Scott; many other nieces and nephews; and special friends, Marion Smith, TN and Georlene Penberthy, SC. Dorothy retired after working twenty years at Singer-Link, Kirkwood, NY. She was a former member of the Stanfordville Baptist Church. She enjoyed admiring her beautiful flower beds, watching the hummingbirds, collecting antique dishes, and spending time with her loving family.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00, noon, Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA with Pastor Philip Hunt and Pastor Lloyd Penberthy officiating. Interment will be made in Lawsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning from 11-12, prior to the service.

Dear Carlyle and Family,
