Anaise Small

Castle Creek - Anaise Small, 99, who was born and raised in Kentucky and a resident of Castle Creek for over 60 years, passed away on March 27, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland Small; parents, Thomas and Mary Fox; sister, Martha Dyer and brother, Thomas Fox Jr. Anaise is survived by 2 daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and Lanny Gates of Maine, NY and Anita Small of Marathon; grandchildren, Debbie Gates, Randy Gates, Patty and Chris Davidson as well as several nieces and nephews. Anaise was a 75-year member of Castle Creek United Methodist Church. She retired from Singer Link after 30 years of service. She loved traveling and taking bus trips with her friends and family. She also enjoyed dancing and bowling. A memorial service and calling hours will be held at Castle Creek United Methodist Church at a later date and will be announced by Charles Dietrich at Nichols Funeral Home, 7323 119th Street, Whitney Point, NY 13862. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.nicholsfuneral.com and, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Castle Creek United Methodist Church, 1087 Castle Creek Rd., Castle Creek, NY 13744.
