Anne Marie Kudcey, of Endwell, passed from this life to the next on June 10, 2009 in Leesburg, Virginia, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Plains, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Lewon) Skierski. She later moved to Binghamton, and was employed at Singer-Link for 40 years. Anne was a loving and devoted Mother to her only daughter. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, grace and elegance. She was considered a "fashion plate" by those who knew her and she modeled in her youth for "Drazen's City of Fashion". Her delicious city chicken and kolatchi were staples at family gatherings and we'll always remember her beautiful Christmas Tree during the holidays. "Your beauty will be missed in every way. Forever in our hearts." She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ray Mikula. Anne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Roxanne and Robert Barden, Leesburg, VA; grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Barden; sisters, Stephanie Mikula and Florence Yencho, both of Plains, PA; brothers, Frank Skierski and his wife, Helen, Endicott, NY, and Stanley Skierski and his wife, Marge, Plains, PA; goddaughter, Denise (Yencho) Pipkin, McLean, VA; nieces, nephews; and beloved grand puppies, Missy and Rocco.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 South Main Street, Plains, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin, PA. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8. Memorial donations may be made to St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Laflin, PA 18702.
