Anton Pratt Obituary

Anton Pratt, Jr.
of Binghamton
Anton Pratt, Jr., of Binghamton, passed away in Goodyear, Ariz. on November 21, 2003. He was predeceased by his father, Anton Pratt, Sr.; and infant son, Phillip Gerard Pratt. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Pratt, Binghamton; his wife, Barbara, of 43 years; a son, Anton III and his wife, Diane, Goodyear, Ariz.; and a daughter, Lynne Kurutz and her husband, Michael, Binghamton. He also had five beautiful grandchildren, Dayne, Tarin, and Tynan Pratt, Goodyear, Ariz., and Michael and Evan Kurutz, Binghamton. Anton is also survived by two sisters, Laura Vlosky, and Donna Flynn, both of Binghamton; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Browning and her husband, Charles, Greene; and also several special nieces and nephews. Dad was a longtime, well-respected employee of Link Flight Simulation and CAE, where he was well-known for his drive and determination. We have him to thank for giving us his "no-quit bloodline." He and Mom traveled many miles to follow our sports, and my dance competitions, to show their support. They were probably the only parents that were ALWAYS there. He enjoyed fishing on the Beaver Kill in his heyday, and taking little day trips with mom. He was a tough man, but we know he is finally in peace. We love you, Dad.
Anton's lifelong wishes were to have his body donated to medical research, and his family has respected them. He has gone to the Internal Institute of Advanced Medicine in Phoenix, Ariz. There will be a memorial service in Binghamton in December, with an announcement printed at that time. The family asks that any donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
