Bruno Thomas Kulas
of Binghamton
Bruno Thomas Kulas, 83, of Binghamton, N.Y., died at Lourdes Hospital, July 28, 2007. Mr. Kulas was born in Cheshire, Massachusetts. Son to the late Adam Kulas and Eleanor Chmura Kulas. He was also predeceased by his two brothers, Casmer and John Kulas. Bruno is survived by his loving wife, Julie of 53 years; and four brothers and three sisters; his children, Thomas and wife, Pam Kulas, Julie and husband, Brian Randall, James Kulas, Stephen and wife, Linda Kulas, Jeffrey Kulas, Mary and husband, Tim Halupki, Paul and wife, Susan Kulas. He has 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Bruno was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Church for 52 years, and liked to volunteer at many church functions. He is a retiree of the Singer Link Company, where he worked for 33 years as a machinist. He loved his family and his garden. It was his pride and joy to give produce to church baskets during the holidays, and to family, friends and neighbors throughout the summer.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1st at St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 1031 Chenango Street, Hillcrest. Burial will be after the service at Calvary Cemetery in Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31st. Contributions in Bruno's name may be made to Catholic Charities of Broome County, 232 Main Street, Binghamton, N.Y. 13905, or to St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 1031 Chenango Street, Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
