Charles Harding Obituary

Charles M. Harding
of Binghamton
Charles M. Harding, 82, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Lourdes Hospital. He is survived by his sister, Eva White; and brother, William Harding; a special nephew and his wife, Dale and Joan Simons and their son, Jay Simons; sister-in-law, Doris Briggs, Owego; brother-in-law, Albert Russell, Willseyville; sisters-in-law, Beulah Russell, Candor and Lily Newton, Hannibal; also several other nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind two special cats, Holly and Sir Duncan. Charles was most recently predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Beverly Mae Newton Harding; also three brothers, Frank Harding, Edward Harding and Thomas Harding; and a sister, Virginia Warner. Charles was a longtime member of the Grace Baptist Church. He retired from Singer Link after many years of service. He will be dearly missed by many.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 14, 2008 at Noon, at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson with Rev. Russell Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
