Clifford F. Cartwright
of Binghamton
Clifford F. Cartwright, 71, of Binghamton, died Friday, December 15, 2006, at his home. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Judith, in 2003. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Tony Stracuzzi and their son, Benjamin, Windsor; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Janet Cartwright and their daughter, Eva, Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Frances Springer, Shelter Island, N.Y.; as well as his nieces and nephews, David, Dougie, Darry and Dawn Dickerson. Cliff was a retiree of Singer-Link Corp. and an Air Force Veteran with 5 years of service. Cliff was an avid outdoorsman and loved the water. He enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening, puttering around the house, talk radio, working, and trivia.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street, Binghamton, with Rev. Thomas Catucci officiating. Burial will be in Brookvale Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 32 W. State Street, Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
