Yankosky, Donald R.

Johnson City: Donald R. Yankosky, 76, of Johnson City went to be with the Lord Friday morning, February 18, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Home. He was predeceased by his son, James, in 1996 and his parents, Alexander and Wilma Yankosky. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Florence (Satkowski) Yankosky, Johnson City; a daughter Catherine, Maricopa, AZ; a loving and caring aunt, Clara Martonick, Endwell; also several cousins. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Johnson City. He was a former employee of Singer-Link, Inc. and was a retired employee of NYSEG in Binghamton with 31 years of service. Don was a gifted woodworker, photographer, painter and outdoorsman. Graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum II, Wednesday at 11 A.M. Arrangements are by the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc. 150 Main St., Johnson City.

My sincere condolences to the family .I attended St Cyrils with Donnie and have wonderful memories of him -always the smartest kid in the class !! As with Florian ,we lost touch after grade school.

My most sincere condolences to the Family, it was many years ago since He & I attended St. Cyrils.He was a good friend but as life goes We each went separate ways & never comunicated.
