Dwight (Bud) W. Penfield
of Binghamton
6/6/23 - 12/28/09
Dwight W. Penfield passed away on December 28, 2009 surrounded by his family. Dwight was predeceased by his parents, Edith and Dwight Penfield; sister, Betty Steiner; brother, Jack Penfield; stepdaughter, Marybeth Martin; and mother-in-law, Marion Levene. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Marilyn Hogan Penfield; children, Matthew Tabeek (Heather), Alisha Hurband; stepchildren, Patrice and Tony DelGrosso, Daniel and Gabriella Mastronardi, James and Kelly Mastronardi, Deborrah and Phil Juran, Robert and Susan Mastronardi, Linda Darling, Susan and Tony Pease; 20 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, also several nieces and nephews. Bud was an employee of Singer Link for 30 years and a proud US Army veteran, World War II. He was the most amazing, generous person anyone could ever know. He enjoyed life, especially his love for the game of golf, and also took pleasure in sharing his war stories to all.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 4th, from 4-7 p.m. at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Kattelville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.

Dear Marilyn, Very sorry to hear of Bud's passing. It seems like only yesterday we were playing the "top three" at State Park golf course. A lot of good times were had up there.
