Helen Price Obituary
Helen R. Price, 89, formerly of Johnson City died Wednesday evening April 27, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband, Ted Price, Jr.; her parents, Mary and John Sotak; her brothers, her brother, John and Joseph Sotak and a sister, Anna Sotak. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene Price, Binghamton; her sister, Marian and Vic Slamas, Nandling, PA; a brother, Leo Sotak, Simpson, PA; sister-in-law, Josephine Sotak, Kirkwood; special niece, Diane Stepneski; longtime friend, Veronica "Ronnie" Buchinsky; several nieces and nephews all of whom their "Auntie Helen" adored. She was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Church, Vestal and retired from Singer-Link. Special thanks to the entire staff at Woodland Manor for their loving care.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent dePaul Church, Clubhouse Road, Vestal, Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at St. Vincent dePaul Church, Monday from 9 a.m.-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Helen may be made to 2011 Walk To End Alzheimers in memory of "Team Helen", 401 Hayes Ave., Endicott, NY 13760. Arrangements are by the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton.
