Jay, Joe, and Sue -

So sorry for your loss, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

December 13, 2010

Aunt June and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear the terrible news. We would have liked to have joined you this weekend, but it sounds like you were surrounded by good friends and family. Jim was certainly a spectacular man and I am so happy that we all were blessed with and by his presence for as long as we were. Please accept the deepest sympathies from my family and I, and hopefully we will see you soon.

Ps: We looked for sympathy cards, but keeping Jim in mind, I don't believe any of them really fit the sad occasion.

Love,
Jamie, Ashleigh and Miller Burrows

Goodbye To My Dad

Goodbye Dad, I have to say
You left me to soon on a cold winter day
I’ll remember the good times and try not to be sad
But saying goodbye still hurts so bad
Ill miss you more then I can express
My love for you will never grow less
I keep trying to imagine how I will go on
I realize tomorrow is another dawn
I know you’re in heaven above
Looking down on me with all your love
Only to whisper in my ear
Remember that I’ll never stop loving you dear
I’ll always remember the good times we had
Remember the man, who I called Dad
I’ll remember you each and every day
And if I need to talk to you, I’ll just sit down and pray
One day we’ll be together again
And talk about all the places we have been
Until the time I see you again I am always going to wonder when.
~Love you so much dad, you will FOREVER be in my heart~
Your Daughter,
Susan E. Rice

Jason, Joey, Susan, and June,

Uncle Jim meant so much to me. He was a remarkable man in so many ways. He was a huge part of my life growing up, and some accomplishments that I have made in my life I owe to him. I will miss him so very much.

Please try to reminisce and let the happy times and memories help ease the pain you are going through now and know that he may be gone physically, but he will always be with you everyday in everything you may do.

My love and prayers are with all of you in this very difficult and trying time.

Love, Marylynn

To my beloved brother Jimmy,

We have shared good times and bad times. We laughed together and we have cried together. There are so many memories from childhood to adulthood. The times I have always cherished and will remember the most are the times of all of us sitting in our cellar, playing darts, sipping a few, dancing, telling jokes, and sometimes even frying up some deer steaks.

Not a day will go by that I won't be missing you. My heart will ache tremendously without you being here, but I know that you are in Heaven now with many loved ones, and I am sure you are all together and looking over all of us, guiding us along.

I love you VERY much Jimmy!

Your loving sister, Rose

What moves through us is a silence, a quite sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch,we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but you lived. And that your life gives us memories too beautiful to forget.

Our depest sympathy,

Chris and Tammy Zamboni
