of Port Crane, NY
June B. Galaska, 87, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly, Monday, April 13, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Joseph Galaska and daughter, Joyce Lee Galaska. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, June Martin & Larry Cooper; grandchildren Jeffrey Martin, Gregory Martin, Julie & Thomas Bullock, Robert Lewis, Christopher & Amy Lewis; great grandchildren, Joshua Kirch, Erika Kirch, Amanda Kirch, Zachery Martin, Alexandra Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Erin Martin and Megan Martin. She retired from Singer Link after 30 years of service. She was a devout Catholic. She enjoyed music, nature and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She will be forever missed.
A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday 9:15 am at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson with a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church in Sanitaria Springs to follow at 10am. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday (Today) from 4-6 p.m.
