Laura S. Griffith
of Endicott
Laura S. Griffith, 96, entered into eternal rest March 26, 2006. She was preceded by her son, Kenneth Griffith, Endwell; two brothers, James and Arthur Sager; one sister, Lameta Shurhall, all of Binghamton. She is survived by her daughter, Marion Griffith, Endicott; sister-in-law, Emma Dunham, Binghamton; three grandsons, Perry Griffith and his wife, Sharon, Endwell, Donald Griffith, Florida, and Kenneth Griffith, Kansas; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was retired from Singer-Link Corporation after 23 years of employment. She was a member of Unit 82, American Legion Auxiliary in Endicott. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff, friends and residents of Ideal Senior Living Center in Endicott for the love, care and the dignity they gave to Laura the last few months of her life. We further appreciate the compassionate care extended to her in her last hours of need by the staff of Wilson Hospital and Hospice.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy in Laura's memory may be made to Unit 82 Legion Auxiliary to assist the auxiliary president in her project, that of Hospice, 1305 Riverview Dr., Endicott, N.Y. 13760. Arrangements by the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott.
