Leroy A. Larson
of Chenango Bridge
Leroy A. Larson passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2006, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Marion Larson. Leroy is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Joan; his loving children, Frederick and Corina Larson, Houston, Tex., Susan and Mike Kovacic, Endicott, Nancy and Rob Waxer, Warrington, Va., Heather and Phil Hudak, Chenango Forks, Kristina and Mike Holahan, Kalamazoo, Mich.; also grandchildren, Kara, Miranda, Kyle, Lauren, Jessica, Danielle, Ava, Joey, Jakob and Mckenzie. Leroy was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He loved to read, travel, all sports, and was an avid Penn State fan. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren and family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, N.Y., with Rev. Judy Wanck officiating. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery at the convenience of his family. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Those wishing please consider memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 59 Court St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901, or the charity of your choice.
