Lester R. Seidel, Jr.
of Conklin
Lester R. Seidel, Jr., 69, of Conklin, passed away Monday evening, February 11, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Lester, Sr. and Beulah Seidel. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Florence J. Seidel, Conklin; three sons and daughters-in-law, Lester III and Angelina Seidel, Windsor, Roger and Caroline Seidel, Conklin, Russell and Holly Seidel, Vestal; seven grandchildren, Stefanie and spouse, Frank Perez, Danielle Seidel, Charlene Seidel, Matthew Seidel, Brooke Seidel, Marina Seidel and Rusty Seidel; two sisters; one brother; several nieces; nephews and cousins. Lester was a retired employee of Singer Link Corporation with 38 years of service and was an avid bowler, baseball player and Yankee fan.
Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Friday at 8:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
