Loretta L. (Volosevich) Murray, age 78, formerly of Binghamton and Windsor, New York, went to be the Lord August 16, 2008 at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Orange City, Florida. Born in Johnson City, she moved to Deltona, Florida in 1985 upon her retirement from the Singer-Link Corporation. She was predeceased by her husband, James T. Murray; and son, David C. Mondell. She is survived by her stepmother, Mary Volosevich, Johnson City, N.Y.; two half-sisters, Fran Volosevich, Binghamton, N.Y. and Barb (Rob) Robinson, Pa.; her son, Michael Mondell, Orange City, Fla.; two daughters, JoAnn (Don) Lloyd, Coconut Creek, Fla. and Marie (Murray) Post, Orange City, Fla.; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

To the Entire Extended Family,(and it is Extended!)

I will always remember "Cracking the Egg" at Easter, and the grandchildren hunting for eggs at Easter in Loretta's backyard on Swanson Drive in Deltona, Florida. I am grateful to have been a part of the Extended Family for many years.

Loretta brought laughter and light into the rooms she entered.... and will do so forever in the memories she created.

To my best friend Marie, I never had the privilege of truly meeting your mother but I knew her through your wonderful eyes. She will be greatly missed but she'll never leave your side. She'll always be looking over your shoulder, smiling!

Dear Marie and Family:
So sorry to read about your mothers passing. I know how much you will miss her and how much she loved you.

My mom (Mary Morelock) passed away Dec 19,2007 and I know she was there with her arms out stretched welcoming your mom. She loved and thought so much of your mom and you, too.

I just hope they don't cause too much trouble with their jokes and laughter in heaven.

take care

I have her lemon cake recipe and I always think of her when I make it and always will. I will keep you in my prayers. I know your pain, I lost my mom a year and a half ago. It is the hardest loss to endure. Knowing Loretta she is in Heaven making someone laugh.

Grams, you will be missed. You were always so full of laughter and you always said things that would brighten up anyones day who was down. I will always keep you in my heart and continue to share memories with my kids as the years go on. It is hard to believe that you are gone, but you are in a better place not suffering any more and I will see you again some day. I Love You and you will be greatly missed.
