Marjorie Carpenter Obituary

Marjorie L. Carpenter
On September 9, 2008, Marjorie went to Heaven with sister, Carole and good friend, Mary Bowell at her side. She is survived by sister, Marion Reihl, Norwich, N.Y., and Carole Carpenter, Gulph Mills, Pa.; niece, Tammy Carmike, Detroit (George); grandniece, Terra Gamota (Gino), Guilford, N.Y.; grandnephew, George Carmike III. She was a graduate of Purdue University and held advanced degrees from SUNY Binghamton. She was a member of NY State Professional Engineers and served on the State Board for several years. In retirement she was a successful Scottie Breeder. She was Past President of Scottish Terrier Club of Greater New York and a member of several kennel and professional clubs.
Memorial remembrances may be made to Hospice at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, Pa.

Carol,
i am so shocked to hear about Margie. So wish I had known she was sick. The strangest thing is we drove past her house the other day and I had planned on calling her to come over. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
