Paul Desko Obituary
of Hillcrest
Paul Desko, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2007, in the privacy of his own home. He was predeceased by his son, Phil in October of 2000. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marjorie; and son, Kim Desko, both of Hillcrest; sister, Sandra Patrick; sister-in-law, June and Bernard McKenna; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Ogden Hillcrest United Methodist Church. He retired in 1979 from Singer-Link after many years of service. Paul was an avid gardener, at one time worked with ceramics and loved to work with his hands.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 29, 2007, at 11 a.m. from the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson. Burial will follow at Chenango Valley Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home, Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Those wishing, kindly consider memorial contributions in Paul's name to the charity of your choice.
