Robert Neil Haas, 73, of Hillcrest, NY, passed away quietly on Monday, August 25 after a 3½-year struggle with cancer. Haas family,

I'll always remember Bob from my days working with him at Link. He helped me and others many times with technical problems we encountered while working on the simulators. Bob was extremely knowledgeable and always went out of his way to help out. Bob was always friendly and jovial, a pleasure to work with and associate with. I'll have nothing but fond memories of Bob.
thank you

Bob was my cousin, and we spent a great year together at Univ. of Michigan. He introduced me to ham radio many years ago, and that was a life-shaping experience for me. He was a regular guy, a good family man, and, although we lived about 3000 miles apart, a friend, and I'll miss him.
