Robert W. Harrison
of Denver, Pa.
Robert W. Harrison, 62, Denver, Pa., died September 23, 2008, in Reading Hospital, West Reading, Pa., of complications resulting from cancer. Bob was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., the son of Willard N. and Margaret I. (Johnson) Harrison, Binghamton, N.Y. Bob graduated in 1963 from Chenango Forks High School and from Southern Illinois University in 1969. He served as a Captain in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War; in Marketing with Link in Binghamton; as a Special Agent with the FBI; and most recently was Director of Business Development for Sechan Electronics, Inc., Lititz, Pa. In addition to his parents he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Erica (Pittman) Harrison, Reston, Va.; daughter, LCDR Holly Harrison, USCG and former wife, Margaret Monthan, both of Summerville, S.C.; and sisters, Elizabeth Ann (Ron) Peugh, Houston, Tex., and Ingrid (Jim) Croisant, Binghamton, N.Y.; as well as nieces, Ingrid (Mike) Rogers, Vestal, N.Y., Amy (Salvatore) Paolini, Endicott, N.Y., Megan Croisant, Binghamton, N.Y., Heather (Paul) Bright, Houston, Tex.; and nephew, Craig (Stephanie) Matheny, Stafford, Va.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 27, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 34-38 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown, Pa. 17567. Inurnment with Full Military Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, 11 a.m., Monday, December 15. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation (http://www.marineheritage.org) or the National Audubon Society (http://www.audubon.org). www.goodfuneral.com

Uncle Bob,
What a tremendous loss to our family!! I admire your strong will, honesty w/ any and all situations and loving and caring heart. You were there for me when things were hard. I will never forget what you did for Amy when she was struggling. You reached out to her and was there for her like no one else. We will truely miss you!!
