Tomazene S. Wheeler
of Binghamton
Tomazene S. Wheeler, 90, of Binghamton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 1, 2007, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh A. Wheeler, Sr.; and her parents, Mary Mitchell Stewart and James O. Stewart; and two brothers, Scott O. Stewart and William A. Stewart. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Wheeler, Pamela and Norman Campbell; a son, Hugh A. and Laura Wheeler Jr.; seven grandchildren, Lisa, Jeffrey, Terri, Kristin, Steven, Shannon and Ashley; five great-grandchildren, Brooke, Nicole, Dillon, Jennifer and Alexandra; brothers-in-law, Roger and Priscilla Wheeler and Caesar Tobia; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was a member and Deacon of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Binghamton. She was a former employee of E. A. Link and retired from the Broome County Probation Department. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Broome County Republican Club. She studied art and enjoyed playing bridge with her longtime friends.
Funeral Services will be held at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 549 Chenango Street, Binghamton, Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Janet L. Abel, her Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
