William Wasson Obituary
Bill's life will be remembered and celebrated at First Baptist Church of Whitney Point at 11 am Friday, Oct. 1, 2010. Calling hours will be at the church Thursday, from 6-8pm and Friday 10 am until service time at 11 am. Burial will be in South Street Cemetery, Triangle, NY. Bill will always be remembered for his deep faith, his sense of humor and his kindness toward all. Arrangements are by Nichols Funeral Home, Whitney Point, NY.

......my "ex" father-in-law. Bill and Jackie have always exuded kindness and forgiveness. Bill was a sweet and gentle man. I wish that I could have been part of one of his hymn sings at the fair. Although he is now glorying in the Presence of his Saviour, he is missed and grieved by all who were his friends and family. A sweet, sweet Christian man.

Aaron Bev Cari and family. My prayers will be with you. Being so far removed from the area I didn't know that Bill was not well. Although I have not seen him for years, I do remember him as being a great person and godly man. Many must have prayed for his healing, my pastor would say now that he has been healed to perfection, we just can't see it, but through faith we can know it.
May our loving Lord give you the comfort, that is much needed at this time.

Jackie, My life has been greatly blessed because of the unconditional friendship you and Bill gave to me. I love you and Bill. He will be greatly missed . I can picture him leading the congregation in singing praises unto our Savior Jesus.What a blessed hope we have in Jesus and in knowing we WILL see Bill again.

Bill certainly was a Brother-In-Love. We do love Bill and Jackie. Bill and Sandra were classmates in high school, and so many good times through the years. It will be a GRAND REUNION when we get home.

I will always remember being a teenager and visiting the Wasson home. One New Years eve we had a party at their home for the teens. Bill and Jackie stayed up with us and watched the ball drop. Most parents would have gone to bed long before midnight. Bill and Jackie were always accepting of the teens as they were and never expected us to be anything other than teens. Bill will be missed. OUr thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family.
