We were so sorry to hear of Del's passing. What a wonderful lady! She and Larry welcomed us so warmly when we arrived at Rockford College, and were so supportive to us and to the college during our tenure there. They made sure we were properly introduced and involved in the community. Del even gave a beautiful bridal shower for our daughter! She was so generous in every part of her life. She will be much missed by all, especially her loving family, who were always pictured on her annual Christmas card. I am sure she is reunited with the love of her life in a better place.

So sorry for your loss. My name is Amy Frees and my mother is Lois Jean Frees who was named after Delmas sister. Delma was my mother's first cousin removed and Delma's grandmother Lily Katherine was my great grandmother's Etna Carter (DeMoss) McMath sister. One of Delmas daughters reminds me of my Great Grandmother Etna.
