I remember Po-Joe from my years at Richard Arnold High. He was loved by everyone at school; teachers, pricipals, staffs, and most all the entire student body. He was full of high energy that made you laugh and he was kind to everyone. My sympathy and prayers goes to his family and many friends.

Debra and Family,

Po-Joe was one of a kind. He was the joy and laughter of anyone who came in contact with him. I am so glad I had the opportunity to know Joe and become a friend of his and he will be sadly missed by me. The Bible says, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Joe is with the Lord now and he is resting in Jesus. I will forever miss him. May God Bless each and everyone of you during the loss of your love one. Debra, remember Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes in the morning. I love you and always remember I am here for you. Phyllis

To the family

I've always considered "Joe" to be a part of my Frog Town family. I knew him as a boy playing in the dirt, shooting marbles, playing touch football and throwing rocks at the old Central station. The last time I saw Joe was on a bus ride and we caught up on the Frog Town days. I grew up with Gadson girls, Kay and I were closer in age, (remember me Nunie) but Joe always looked after me. Debra, I am proud to know that he married someone very special. I miss you big guy and to the entire family, I love you and stay strong.

He has a new job now and that includes looking after my boy up there!

Love Carla"bka" Nunie from frogtown
