Rip Kathy...Although I never got to work with you Everytime I seen you in passing you always smiled and said hi...I stumbled across the news by accident and I just lost my grandfather a week ago today and when I was cutting his obituary out of the paper I found yours. Ken, Jenny, & Catie,
Our hearts go out to you and your family. Whenever I saw Kathy, she always spoke so lovingly of her children and Ken. She was so excited to introduce us to her gorgeous daughter, Jenny, and she always had a twinkle in her eye for her adorable daughter, Catie. Kathy was a very loyal and supportive person and she referred many family members, friends, and co-workers to us. Through them, we got to know her even better. She came for a visit last month and we chatted for a little while. We had just moved into our new office and I apologized for the boring picture on the computer screen. She looked at me and smiled and told me she absolutely loved the warmth, serenity, and peacefullness in the screen saver which depicted the majestic desert landscape. I pray that her spirit will provide her family with the warmth, serenity, and peacefullness that she embodied.

Kathy will always be in my memories as a very smart, beautiful and powerful spirit. I will never forget her and thank her for the two wonderfull children we have. As I look at Jennifer she has all the beauty, determination and heart of her mother and Eric has her determination, straight forwardness and willpower and both have her intellegence. I promise you, kathy, to be there for them as much as I am physicaly able. I am thankfull that my life was shared with yours.

She was a wonderful woman inside and out. I remember all the times Jenny and I would drive her crazy, and the times she was there for me when I was going through some hard times with my family. Kathy's Family
I miss her dearly , she always had a smile for me in the morning when I arrived at work. She was so Kind , thoughtful of others and caring. She was an excellent nurse and a pleasure to work with. I feel blessed that I had the oppurtunity to work with her. My sincerest condolences.

To Kathy's family,
I've worked with Kathy at Compass Health. She was my supervisor on the night shift. She brought so much stability and consistancy to our shift. She was very caring with our patients and showed a deep understanding of mental illness. Lots of empathy and compassion. She also made the night shift more fun with her easy going attitude and great sense of humor. It was such a terrible shock to hear the news of her death, such a young woman, so full of life. I miss her so much and work will never be the same. I know she's in a better place but her leaving was far too soon. It was a pleasure getting to know her and wish I had more time with her. I miss her terribly. My prayers are with all her family.

Ken, Catie, Jen, Eric, and family,
I have had the privilege of working with Kathy as my supervisor and what a blessing she has been to me. I felt she came at just the right time because of who she is and the love she offers. I wish I could share all the stories she shared of her love for each of you. I know you know she loved you dearly and was so proud of you. We have shared much laughter and tears and I didn't think we were near done. I am feeling such a loss as I am sure you all are. Thank you for sharing her with me. I believe she is with her loved ones on the other side celebrating with them and always will be there for you. Death is a not an end but a part of the process for us to live again and be together in a much more warm and loving place. May all of us continue on our journey until our time is up, and look forward to greeting Kathy again one day with open arms and celebrating together. I hope I have Skip-Bo mastered!
