What a gentle man...I came to know Ted and Judy when I was luckily chosen to help them re-locate to their present home in Edmonds...what dear people...and what a dear man. Not knowing him for long...but it doesnt take long to become a friend of Ted's . . . I will miss his warm smile and twinkle always. My heart is with Judy and the family.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father. I have great memories of him while visiting your View Ridge house growing up. He always called me "Kendall Susan" even though Susan was not my middle name :-) He was always trying to make us laugh and quick to start a conversation. I remember feeling pretty cool riding in his Jaguar when he dropped me and Beth off at LVR soccer practices. I'm very sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to you all.

Ted was a real gentleman, a loving husband, father and grandfather, friend and mentor to many. His strength and belief in the Lord helped him through many challenges with his health but he never lost his sense of humor and was always pleasant to others. My sympathy is with all his family and friends. He has left a strong loving legacy and will be sincerely missed.

I met Ted the summer of his freshman year of college -- he was dating my best friend, Carol. He was a tall, lanky, 19 year-old likable kid still with some growing up to do. His smile always accompanied by twinkling eyes. He was authentic, he spoke with thought, his teasing humor was done quietly, one had to listen carefully. His energy was boundless, his interests limitless. The caring & giving of himself towards others was just who he was. He was a man of integrity & humility. He also was a wise & persuasive man, as he was able to convince two extraordinary women to marry him -- Carol, 50 1/2 years together, raising three lovely daughters . . . . then was blessed to find Judy, 'Judy-Jo', in the twilight of his life, having five wonderful years together. Rest well, my friend, I will miss you.

I remember Ted bringing his entire family up to Stevens Pass to learn to ski with the Ski Laufer Ski School. He was so taken with us and what we did for students that he became a cadet instructor helping us teach students to ski. He really enjoyed spending time with his family in the mountains. I am not sure his daughters shared his affection for skiing, especially on those rare rainy days, but they were always there with him. My sympathy to all of his family for your loss. Remember the fun you had as teenagers skiing with him when you celebrate his life

I worked with Ted for over 20 years through the Berger and Bridges Families. He was the most sincere, hard working gentleman and I learned a lot from him. I will miss our conversations regarding business but most of all our personal chit chat. He truly is an inspiration to me and my family. He will be missed.
