Benjamin Wright Obituary
Benjamin Phillip WRIGHT A blazing comet has passed briefly through our world and on into the heavens. Born in Seattle on December 28, 1983, Benjamin brought his light to us for a painfully short while, but the world is made better as a result. He attended St. Francis of Assisi School in Burien from 1989 to 1998, and then graduated from Kennedy High School in 2002. He also attended Seattle Central Community College in 2002-'03.Benjamin died on June 5, 2004 in Los Angeles and is survived by his parents Daniel and Nancy Phillips Wright of Burien, his sister Janna Marie Wright of Highline High School, grandparents Glena and Charles Norton of Los Barriles, Mexico, Jeanne Isbell Phillips of Santa Barbara, California, and William and Edna Wright of Borrego Springs, California. Benjamin's rapier wit, staunch loyalty and loving kindness will be greatly missed by those he left behind. At this time of great sorrow, we are comforted only by the knowledge that his light shines on as his spirit blazes endlessly through the universe. Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday June 18 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. 15236 21st Avenue SW, Burien.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Ben, I’ve known you since kindergarten. I was the only girl at your 4th grade birthday/slumber party. I called you Benois in French class. I remember the day we graduated high school. You have been a part of my life from the time I can remember. I think about you every day. It doesn’t matter what I am doing…you pop into my head all the time. I know you are looking upon all of us now and you realize how much you are loved and missed.

BEN i couldn't believe what my ears heard, I will miss you so much. I don't know what to think or how to feel about you being gone, all I have are memories, having all of those classes together, history, religion, *my husband*, *our egg baby* I KNEW WHO YOU WERE and I will truely, truely miss you, and will always remember everything about you and the good times we had ..........you will always be in my heart and mind.....I hope your in a happier place now...love you, jasmine crews

I didn't believe my eyes at first, when one of my friends passed me the paper, stareing at me.. Asking me if I knew this person. Ben was so very much to me, I couldn't even explain it in words. he was such a caring person. He never ever said anything bad about me, and went out of his way to make me smile each and everyday at Kennedy high school. He was truely one of a kind, and no one will ever replace him. Ben, you will be missed.

I can't seem to put any words together I just have so many memories of Ben floating through my mind...stealing Ben's fries during lunch and giving me a horrible nickname that I will never forget. To all who loved him this is a heavy burden to carry, but at least we carry it together. " I wrote your name in the sand, but the waves washed them away, I wrote your name in the sky, but the clouds made it fade away, so I wrote your name in my heart and forever it will stay."
