Doris Smallenberger Obituary
Shreveport, LA - Funeral services for Doris Margaret Smallenberger, 84, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:30 until service time at the funeral home.
Doris was born August 5, 1934 in Shreveport, LA to Leonard and Pearl McFerren and went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2018 in Shreveport. She worked at Smallenberger Law Firm for many years.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Smallenberger; brothers, Clayton, Marvin, and Bennie McFerren; and sisters, Mozel, Adel, and Betty Jo. Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Charles McFerren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Mary Epps and the staff of Heritage Manor West.

I had seen Doris when I was working at Brookshire's on Pines Road as a cashier. She was as beautiful and sweet as I had remembered her. She always loved my dad, her Uncle Albon and wife Inez. I have such fond memories of her. My prayers are with the rest of the family. She was my 1st cousin (even though I always thought of her as an aunt. She was a true blessing. My cell is(318)426-1016.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. Doris was just like family to us my mom Mary has spent many days and evening with Judge Smallenberger and Doris. She will be truly missed by the Epps, Vinson and Armstrong family. May God continue to comfort you at this time.
