JAMES DEWING Obituary
Jim was born on October 28, 1952 in Anaconda, MT to Marguerite Nowlan Dewing and James Edward Dewing Sr.
Jim was raised and lived in Anaconda up until the time he enlisted in the US Army from 1969 to 1972 serving in Viet Nam.
Jim leaves behind six siblings: sister, Dorris and her husband Thomas Greenough of Hood River, OR; Donna Vancos of Butte, MT; Dayle Rutledge of Santa Maria, CA; Jamie Scalise of Mohler, WA; John Dewing of Port Orchard, WA; Pamela Somerville of Butte, MT. Numerous nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews are also mourning the loss of their uncle Jim. Other family and loved ones consist of his step-mother, 2 aunts, 1 uncle and numerous cousins.
Jim was preceded in death by both his parents, stepfather and grandparents.
Jimbo was always an outdoorsman. Hunting and fishing were an art to him.
His choices of occupation usually led him to work outside - from working a deep-sea fishing rig from Alaska to Seattle to contracting and building or re-building homes. He was an avid reader of mysteries, who-dunits and nature publications. In recent years for entertainment he had taken to watching cooking shows especially the Iron Chef and collecting recipes. Jim was a loving son, a kind brother and an entertaining and loving uncle. He will be missed by many.
Arrangements are under the care of Hulbush Funeral Home & Crematorium.
Interment will be at a Veterans National Cemetery, at a later date.

I worked at PWT with James and he was always so nice. He would come in to the Guard House and talk. He really liked his blue car and I would tease him about the license plate. I really miss him. My prayers are with his family.
