Thomas Powers Obituary

Thomas E. Powers III of Plymouth died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and friends on November 8, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Toni (Keating) Powers. Loving father of Erin H. Cudmore and her husband Rik of Plymouth and Hollie M. Daley and her husband Chris of Plymouth. Brother of William Paul Anthony Powers and his wife Bonnie of N.Y. and Janet Lee Matchett and her husband Phil of Swampscott. Cherished grandfather of Stacia, Riley, Cashel, Emma, and Fiona. Beloved uncle of Jennifer, Jacqui, and Anthony. He is also survived by his beloved dog Lady. Born in Boston February 3, 1943 son of the late Ralph and Bertha (Brown) Powers. Thomas served with the US Army, ASA during the Vietnam War and later went onto working in property management at Otis Air Force Base in Bourne. In the past, he was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and for his hobbies, he enjoyed reading, history, biking, and driving. Throughout the years, he assisted in the smooth operation of Tiny Town Children's Center from obtaining supplies, tax receipts, digging holes for treasure chests on the beach for the children, and ensuring the cleanliness of the building, to helping with graduation. https://ssl.gstatic.com/ui/v1/icons/mail/images/cleardot.gif Visiting hours in the Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet) on Saturday, Nov 17, from 2-4 with a memorial service at 4 p.m. Cremation in Vine Hills Crematory.
