Dick and I vividly remember, with fondness and sorrow, the wonderful weekend after graduation that our whole seminary class spent with Rudy and Lynne. It was a blessed time that helped us all transition into our various ministries. We are so sorry that the world has lost him but we will not forget that Rudy has forever changed it.

Sandi and I join the countless friends of Rudy's family in prayerfully giving thanks for his +Blessed ministry and for his love shared in Jesus' name. Well done, good and faithful follower of our Lord.

Rudy was such a kind, compassionate and caring man-always ready to help a family and the community! His visits to my parents Bob and Mary Lee Messinger after their move to Lewisburg meant so much to all of us! Heaven just got another wonderful member from St. James Episcopal Church! Love to Lynne and family

Rudy was a gentle, caring friend and priest. He put everyone he met at ease with his kind smile, soft spoken words of welcome and true interest in listening to them. When we became members of the Mansfield community, we realized he was quietly making a difference in the lives of so many people. God bless his family as they celebrate his life.

Rudy was so positive kind and caring to our congregation. He was encouraging. I always found his sermons to be thoughtful and helpful. I will miss him so much.
