God's Peace to all who will miss Betty's presence in this world. I remember her as Robin's mom, meeting her when Robin and I were roommates at St. Olaf. She was a beautiful role model of faith, hospitality, and good spirit. Robin was in our wedding 46 years ago, December 27th and the Tombers family was there including newborn, David. Robin was remembered at our 45th anniversary of graduation at St. Olaf last May when we had a memorial service for our class members who have passed away. God's love to you all.

Scott and I were so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. Although it is sad to no longer have her with us, we can rejoice in knowing that she has gone home to be with the Lord. Thanks Betty for all the fun times!

When I read the devotional reading for Dec 17 and the subject was about death as Christ's minister, I didn't think it was too relevant to our starting a 1200 mile trip to be with grandkids for their Christmas break. But when the word came on the 18th that Betty had been called home, there was a wonderful sense of God's sovereignty. One of the readings: "Until our Master summons us, not a hair of our head can perish, not a moment of our life be snatched from us. When He sends for us, it should seem but the message that the child is wanted at home." --Anthony W. Thorold in Joy and Strength. Looking forward to the reunion. :) Sad yet rejoicing.

Betty will be greatly missed. We had years of fun going to the beach, Como Park, Picnics at Minnehaha Falls and walking in the creek there. Betty gave us classes in ceramics, painting, arts and so so many things. Betty and Gladys had so much artistic talent. We always had fun. Betty and Bob were the God Parents to our three children. Susan, Stephanie and Stacy. Kay and I enjoyed bowling with her and of course the friends at Fourth Baptist, along with attending The Golden Agers at Fourth.
Betty is finally at rest and I know she is smiling down at all of us. Betty, you will be missed, and I'm glad you were one of my sisters, and Neil always enjoyed being around you.
