Patti, Barbara, Marty, and Mitchell, I join my sister, Anne, in expressing my condolences on the death of your mother. I too have such happy memories of Jessie - and all of you. She created a warm and welcoming home full of love for you and Sid and that love extended to all who visited.

Dear Patti, Barbara, Mitchell and Marty,
No one could have asked for better neighbors than your dear parents and all of you. We lived next door to you on Sargent Avenue many years ago, and your Mother was kindness itself toward my parents, Mary and Ed Dean, my younger sister Mollie, and me. I remember her loving care of your uncle Martin, her wonderful cooking and baking, her pride in all of you, and her zest for life.
My warm memories of her will always be with me.
Sincerely,
December 30, 2009

Dear Marty & Family;
How hard it is to say goodbye
When someone we love has to die
Whether age or illness has wrinkled the face
And we assume they're in a better place
Warmth and Sympathies are sent today
In the hopes that they may
Ease the pain you now bear
Knowing you have friends who care
Mike and I knew Sid and Jessie for many years. What wonderful legacies they both left behind. I'll never forget their zest for life. It was a good one.

Marty and family, Nancy and I send or condolences to all of you. Jessie was such a warm and vibrant person. I remember the many times we spent at your home and her good cooking. I will also remember how sweet both she and your dad were and how they always treated all of us just like their own. I am sorry we are out of town but please know we are thinking of you at this very difficult time. Nancy and Steven Schachtman
