Marilyn M. Thomas Obituary
A 1989 graduate of St. Augustine High School, Judy was a faithful member of St. Paul AME Church serving in the Gospel Choir, Children's Church assistant and Sunday school teacher.
She was employed at the Webster School for over 15 years as a Teacher's Aide and for 11 years as a group leader at the YMCA.
Cherishing her memories, a devoted and loving family, husband, Melvin Thomas, III; her children, Donald, Destiney, Devin, Melvin S., Melic, Malcolm and Mkayla; her loving sisters and brothers- Carolyn "Kay Kay" Mitchell, Margaret Logan, LaSheba Anderson, Kenneth Logan and Mack Mims; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at St. Paul AME Church
Callings hours are 6-8 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Church and 1 p.m. until service hour.
Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, the Rev. Ron Rawls, officiating.
Leo C. Chase & Son Funeral Home is entrusted with the Celebration of Life Services.

Our hearts are sadden by your loss,Ms. Marilyn was like a piece of heaven on earth,she was always so good with all my Grandchildren,I had about 12 of them that went to Webster and the YMCA. We all loved her, and when ever I saw her she would always say, "hows my baby's doing?" She will be greatly missed by all.But always in our hearts.

Our family was just so shocked to hear about the passing of Ms. Marilyn. She has known us since we've moved here 8 years ago and was just so wonderful with our children.
