Bill was a wonderful kind man, he inspired so many with the way he spoke and his loved for the Community, Veterans, military. True American patriot who had a devotion for the American Legion Family of U.S.S. Tampa Post 5 of which he was commander for over 12 years. Bill will be missed by many. Prayers are with his dear wife and entire family.

My fellow Vet,my fellow Legion member, and more importantly my friend!!! I will remember the fun times.. when we walked Dale Mabry trying to get donations for that first Christ the King auction. Weird contributions but we pulled it off! We took the alter boys to the Keys with Father Sherman and almost ended up in the middle of Hurricane Andrew. I will cherish the Legion parties and even the cemetary services. As a fellow New Yorker fellow Veteran and a fellow 1947 baby there is a lot to cherish and remember. I will think of you fondly and often.
