Gabriella Lowell Obituary
Worcester - Gabriella V. "Gabby" Lowell, a vivacious, bright and loving young lady, passed away Tuesday June 12th 2018 from injuries, suffered when she was struck by an automobile while crossing Grafton St.
Gabriella was born January 11, 1998, in Worcester, the daughter of Alyson Lowell. She was raised in the Grafton St neighborhood of Worcester, attended North High School and currently a student at Quinsigamond Community College. She aspired to become a Veterinarian because of her love for animals and was studying to make that a reality.
Gabriella is survived by her devastated family; Her mother Alyson; maternal grandparents, Ken and Donna Garabedian all with whom she lived; a sister, Azarya Jenkins in Florida; her godmother, aunt and uncle, Joan and Frederick Collins, Gina Harris and her husband Douglas of Chicopee, Jon and Jackie Lowell, and Sandra DeSimas; her best friend, Destinee Thomas with whom she had just left, her beloved cat Frank; step father, Alan Young; many cousins she considered sisters and brothers; extended family members and friends.
Gabriella, a simple, fun loving young lady, cherished the time with her family, her friends and her cat. She loved music, dancing, macaroni and cheese, swimming, the beaches of Rhode Island, playing basketball, cruises and shopping with mom and grandma. She always found the good in bad situations and made everyone around her laugh.
Private funeral services were held Saturday, June 16th. There were no calling hours. Memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 209 W Central St, Natick, MA 01760. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.

To the entire family/friends,
I did not know Gabriella, but I walk with my little dog Otis every single morning and cross the street there. As I crossed I saw the memorial and I was saddened because someone had passed away. I did not know until today it was the young lady that lives near me, I live on Sunderland Road. Again I am so sorry for the loss of Gabriella. It's funny how people affect your life and you really don't know them. I will remember her always just by walking across that street. Again words cannot express the devastation that you feel.

I have no words to describe the heartache and pain that Im feeling. Im completely torn. It feels as if; Im having this terrible dream and I cant seem to wake up from it.
How can someone so full of life, Love and such a carefree spirit be taken from this world?
I keep asking myself, Why? But I guess I will NEVER understand..
We live in such a crazy, twisted and messed up world. This thing call "Life" just isnt fair.
I remember hanging out with Cait pretty much every day after school and every weekend, and you were always around. You certainly kept us on our toes back in the day.
Ive been signing your version of Petey Pablo-Raise up in my head since we lost you. It brings a smile to my face but tears to my eyes. You never sang the right words to it, but I loved it anyways.
I can picture it now, sitting at the table, and Grammy yelling at you from the kitchen table, to turn your music down. You would turn it down and then it slowly went back up.
Then youd come running down stairs like a bat out of hell, Yelling Mammy Im hungry you may have knocked a few things over from your room to the kitchen, but that was Gabby.
I guess you can say things never really changed as you got older, you were still knocking things over or off the wall. You were like a Bull in a China shop lol
I have so many other funny memories, I can go on for days. But Ill keep those for another time.
Please send some signs ever once in a while, and tell Aunt Joan I Miss and love her. Im sure she was waiting for your arrival with open arms.
I will never forget you Gabby. I love you little Cousin.

Gabby, where do I even begin? From the moment you were born we were Best sissy's. Even though we are 2 1/2 years apart we did EVERYTHING together. I will always cherish all of our time together even though it wasn't enough time. I'll remember looking at Grammy and saying what the heck? Is there a concert going on upstairs? But it was just you singing and dancing to your music (from Whitney Houston to achey breaky heart). I'm going to remember my crazy, silly Gabby forever. RIP my beautiful angel. I have no words. I am so devistated that there are no words to even express how I am feeling. You lived life to the fullest, no regrets. That is a wonderful thing and brings some peace to my heart knowing how much you loved life. You loved my boys like they were your little brothers and for that I will be forever grateful to you.
