I was shocked to hear this news of Karen's passing. As one of our daughter Jenn's close friends and a member of our Girl Scout troops in Rutland I feel like I've lost one of my daughters. My deepest, most sincere condolences at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Karen was so kind , caring and upbeat and cheery. She had a wonderful smile. She prayed with me several time throughout my own battle with breast cancer. May she Rest In Peace she will be truly missed. My prayers are with her family.
Sincerely

Pastor Karen always weirded me out because she was so thoughtful and genuinely nice. God took the best bits of humanity and made Pastor Karen. In between my moments of tears, I will thank God for your life and aim to follow the example you set. I love you and will miss you terribly. May you rest in peace and rise in Glory.

Karen had an endless caring and energy for everyone, not only those of us in her congregation, but it was obvious to all that she had a deep commitment to all people. She graced us at Christ the King-Epiphany with her presence and her deep Spirituality. Karen has left a void in our hearts and will always be remembered with great fondness. May she forever Rest In Peace.

aren was so generous to me when I was Interim Rector at St. Francis in Holden. She patiently led me through the traditions and practices of the church, and affirmed my ministry following the dynamic ministry of Rich Simpson. Her smile and laugh were like pure joy. When Karen died a light went out, yet she continues to shine. Thank You Karen. Prayers Ascending for your family and wide circle of friends and the congregation.

As a member of Christ the King- Epiphany, I would have to say that Karen was one of the best pastors ever. So much so, that when she was with us the first time, and I was on the church council, we wanted to call her as our pastor then.
She was a true servant.
Caring, always willing to help, there when you needed her, a good friend.
I will miss our talks and her laughter...

You will be missed. You were a special person and a great Rector. You married Michelle and I. Whenever we spoke you were like a friend who I knew much longer than I did. We had wanted to come to your new parish but never had an opportunity. We are shocked and saddened . Your life had an impact on many an you will be missed very much. I can't believe we will never speak again.
