Robert Heising Obituary
Cedar City
Robert Lynn Heising passed away on Sunday June 27, 2015. Robert was 74 years old and had lived in Cedar City, Utah for the past 24 years. Born in Jefferson County, Oregon, Robert completed high school and in 1958 joined the United States Army where he served his country for 7 years. Robert was friendly and caring to those around him and loved spending time in the mountains. He enjoyed many simple things in life and found pleasure and in being outside and feeling the sun on his face. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Dorsy and Emma Hiesing and his brothers Richard, Gale and Daniel. Robert is survived by his life-long friend, companion and partner, Jackie Witherspoon. Services for Robert will be held Thursday July 2, 2015 at St. Jude's Episcopal Church (70 North 200 West, Cedar City, UT) at 11:00 am. Visitation will be at 10:30 at the church. Interment will be at the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com.

I remember when Robert slpied on the ice. I felt bad. And when he and Jackie went for walks .

Sweet Jackie, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one. I always remember you as that darling little girl who came into Jobie's. As sad as this great loss is I am happy that you were blessed with this special man for many years. I have thought of you often over the years and wondered where you were and what you were doing.
