I was deeply sadden today to find out about Mrs Walker's passing. She was a wonderful neighbor, teacher and friend. She was always so kind to my children and she will be missed. We are so sad we missed her funeral but happy she is in peace now with her wonderful husband Lloyd.

What a Godly woman of face and service through Christ. Rev. Lloyd & Kathryn were always a "team ministry. they encouraged me as I began full time Christian ministry in East Ohio Conference in 1969. Rev. Lloyd Walker invited me to preach while I was a student at Asbury Theological Seminary. Many years after his death, Kathryn was still offering encouragement when I visited her in Akron, Ohio. She was passionate in expressing her love for Christ and for all people. She wanted them to know and love her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was always a "bridge-builder" and teacher in touching peoples' lives - especially children. Death cannot take away God's gifts of good memories and life-giving truths He has planted in our hearts through Kathryn. "...because Christ lives, we shall live also." Jesus is trumpeting all of heaven as Kathryn enters and settles in: Well done, good and faithful servant."
