Susan enjoyed life to the fullest; her passions were traveling, especially internationally, ongoing learning, and many community organizations - Pan-Pacific & South-East Asia Women's Association, Flower Hospital Auxiliary, Association of Two Toledos, and The Opera Guild to name a few.

She is survived by her daughter, Erika Eberly (Mike) and their children, Sloan (Pete) Mann, Chelsea (Will Westendorf) Eberly, Cody Eberly and Alex Eberly; along with her longtime companion, Mario Konidaris.

The family would like to thank her wonderful friends for all their support over the last few months.

A Memorial Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, at Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Ebeid Hospice Residence of Sylvania, OH, the Eberly Center for Women at the University of Toledo or their charity of choice, in lieu of flowers.

I had the wonderful opportunity to travel with Susan to Hungary in the summer of 1998 as part of an outreach educational effort arranged by Fr. Martin Hernady. Susan was a fun and spirited travel partner along with the others in our group. I have many wonderful memories of teaching the Hungarian children, along with Susan. May God receive her with love into her eternal reward.
