ANNEKEN, Anneliese, beloved sister of Magdalena and sister of the late Anton Anneken. Sister in law to Ben. She was the most devoted Aunt to Mike, Marianne, Mark, Connie, Bernie and their families. Our dearest Anneliese passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 95 years of age. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Old St. Mary's Catholic Church in downtown Cincinnati on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made to Old St. Mary's Catholic Church 123 E 13th Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202. Many of us have not experienced the joy of having an aunt quite like Anneliese Anneken in their lives. As children, she frequently arrived at our door carrying her coat, umbrella and tote bag. Aunt Anneliese was a true "Mary Poppins" to our family for many decades. She will always be remembered for her kindness, playfulness and laughter she brought to each of us, as well as our own children. All who knew her can tell you that she was truly sweet and full of grace, which left you with a joyful heart anytime you spoke with her. We will always be thankful for the wonderful memories. She loved Angels! Heaven has gained a very special angel!
