John R. Challey

John was born on September 8, 1930 and passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016. John was a resident of Fargo, North Dakota at the time of his passing. He graduated from Central High school in 1948. John went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota and later from North Dakota Agricultural College now known as NDSU where he received his Masters in Zoology in 1955. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin receiving a PhD in Parasitology in 1962 which he applied to developing methods to control parasites and diseases in the poultry industry. Cremation has taken place and as requested no services will be held.
