to my dearest friend and swordsister, we had fun at ninja training and a good friendship grew for over 20 years with long gossipy letters passing back in forth. I swear we singlehandedly kept the post office in the black for a long time. my cats loved her, and will miss her annual Christmas box to them which they waited for eagerly and at times terrified the mail carrier when it arrived, something that delighted her no end. many blessing to you my dear, dear swordsister, I will never forget you or the wisdom you taught to me.

I feel so fortunate to have been called "Pet" by her. I know the gardens in heaven have a new attendant now but my world is sadder by her not being in it anymore. She was the kindest, strongest woman I have ever known.

To "The Roys Boys", your mother was, indeed, an amazing woman! In the mid-70s, she was the only female adult Scouter to earn the "Wood Badge". And how many years did she devote to Scouting as a committee member to various troops? Yes, truly amazing! Gib
