I know this is years later but I just read this today. I met Newman at West Center Elementary in 5th Grade and we remained friends all our school years. He always had a smile and a laugh. I met him, Hugh and Eldon all at the same time. What a great friend he was.

Newman was a very special guy. He had a big heart and was always willing to help those in need. He will be greatly missed.

I'm grateful that many of the family members were able to gather and be present for Newman's peaceful departure from this life. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to join in caring for Newman at the hospital as one of his nurses. My thoughts and sympathy are with your family at this time.
