Rose V. Serigny

Rose V. Serigny passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, in Denham Springs, Louisiana, at the age of 94. She was born on Thursday, August 30, 1928 in Golden Meadow, Louisiana to the late Felicie and Willie Verdin. She was a long time resident of Robert, Louisiana. Rose is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Sylvia Serigny Garner (Douglas), son & daughter-in-law, Ulysse Serigny (Brendyia), Jr., son, Robert Serigny, her grandchildren, Alyssa Serigny, Ulysse Serigny III (Amanda), Briana Lawson, Caleb Serigny, Gabrielle Pitts (Tejari), Brendan Serigny, Colt Serigny (Lynn), James Serigny (Amy), Jr., Zachary Serigny (Jessica), Amber Billiot, Raymon Garner, Jeffrey McCarroll (Ana), Derrick Ford, Jr., Jordan Richardson, great-grandchildren, Alyssa R. Serigny, Jariah Pitts, Tristan Billiot, Taylin Billiot, Bronson Garner, Nathan Serigny, James Serigny, III, Jacob Serigny, Ann Marie Serigny, Daniel Serigny, Isabella Serigny, Axl Serigny, John David Serigny, Kylie Richardson, Elizabeth McCarroll, Cole Baker, Katelyn Serigny, Jace Richardson and Maisyn Richardson; she lived to cherish her sister, Lucretia Cerigny, her God Children, Donna Cerigny and Charlotte Wolfe, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ulysse Serigny, Sr.; parents, Felicie and Willie Verdin; son, James Joseph Serigny, Sr.; siblings, Isaac Verdin, Mary Vizier and Helen Caulfield; as well as her special brother-in-law, Andre S. Cerigny. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and again Friday, September 23, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
