Funeral services for Margaret Probst Moseley O'Harra are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Bro. Tom Bragdon officiating. Burial will be in Payne Springs Cemetery. Margaret passed away Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at The Hospice of East Texas.
She was born March 30, 1930, in Gunter, the oldest of seven children born to the late Charlie and Inez Probst.
A member of Leagueville Baptist Church, Margaret, enjoyed working in the nursery for many years. Loving, giving and doing for others brought her great joy.
Margaret was preceded in death by husbands, T.C. Moseley and Chuck O'Harra; son, Clay Moseley; brothers Charles, Don, Jerry and Bob Probst.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Jerry Huggins, Brownsboro, Sandra and Kyle Lynch, Owasso, Okla., Brenda and Dan Herrin, Flint; brother, Tommy Probst, Ennis; sister, Shirley Mayfield, Garland; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, 75701.
Arrangements are under direction and personal care of the professionals at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens.
