Kevin FLORKO Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province on Aug. 31, 2016.
FLORKO, Kevin Lee
September 13, 1958 - August 23, 2016
Born to Lee Davison and Alvin Florko, Kevin passed away suddenly on August 23, 2016 and is survived by his beloved mother, Lee; daughters, Alysha and Taunya (Gord) and granddaughter Ruby; siblings; Bob, Dave and Kerry (Kelly); nephew, Wilson; friend and ex- wife, Cindy; brother in-law, Gary (Tina) and nieces, Melissa and June. Kevin had such a big heart and was the proudest father, papa, brother and son. He was blessed last year with the delight of his later life, when he became Papa to his grandbaby Ruby. A happy, hearty greeting his brothers and close friends could always be sure to hear from Kev was, "Hey, bro." He was a guy who had the best hugs anyone could give, something his mother, sister, brothers and daughters will remember him for. He loved the outdoors and was an avid collector who took pride in all that he did. Kevin's sense of humour, loud cheerful laugh and smile made him who he was and will truly be missed. A celebration of life will be held at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1130 Carmi Ave., Penticton, 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17.
